- Ellis Kids www.ellis.com or call 1-866-211-0721. Has Kids Essentials for preliterate students, as well as levels one through three. Includes record-keeping management piece and a scope and sequence. Excellent for grades 3-6 (portions may be used with younger children as well). Some districts have had technical problems, so discuss this and support with the company representatives.
- English in a Flash: www.renlearn.com/englishinaflash/default.htm by Renaissance Learning. It’s lower-level drill and practice, but does keep records of students’ progress.
- English Discoveries: www.englishdiscoveries.com This is a real-life simulation program with lots of great features, including an online progress report. For ages 10 through adult.

- The Rosetta Stone: www.rosettastone.com Teaches vocabulary in English, Spanish, French, and several other languages. It’s basic and rather repetitive, but if you’re looking for a program that teaches several languages, this may work for you.
